CHARLES BYCROFT FRICS

CONSULTANT

Chartered surveyor with over 50 years’ experience who founded the company in 1992. Charles loves sailing his boat with his wife Julie and two Red Miniature Poodles Millie and Mollie, he is captain of the Norfolk Broads!

DANIEL BYCROFT BSc (Hons) MRICS

MANAGING DIRECTOR

Chartered surveyor with over 30 years knowledge and property expertise in the local area. Dan likes running and playing the piano (not at the same time!) and walking his two family (and office mascots) red fox Labradors Branston and Barley. He feels blessed to manage the best team of Estate Agents in Norfolk!

LUCY ABBOT MARLA

LETTINGS DIRECTOR

Lucy has over 15 years of rental expertise. She deals mainly with all the lettings accounts as well as assisting the busy lettings department. Outside of the office she enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, going on long beach walks followed by lunch in a cosy pub!

Nick has been valuing properties in the Great Yarmouth and Gorleston area for over 20 years, he excels in customer care and enjoys building relationships with buyers and sellers. Nick enjoys spending time with his family and watching Norwich City Football Club!

Dom has been in estate agency for 4 years and has a solid grounding of valuing in the Norfolk area. He enjoys dog walks with his Rhodesian Ridgebacks and playing football for his local team.

Laura has 20 years of experience selling properties in Gorleston, Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft. As well as passion for gardening, outside of the office Laura can be found on the beach taking her dog for a walk!

Tia has progressed rapidly since joining the Bycroft team in 2020 and is highly thought of by all her colleagues. She enjoys spending time with her family and boyfriend and having her nails done!

MAISIE SHARMAN

Maisie joined Bycroft as an Apprentice. She is an invaluable member of the team and throws herself into any task. Maisie enjoys walking her sausage dog Bonnie and spending time with her family.

Jack joined Bycroft in 2024, bringing along previous experience and knowledge of selling properties in the Gorleston area. He has quickly become a very valued member of the team. Jack lives in Lowestoft, and has a love of collecting football shirts.

Jackie joined Bycroft in 2024, having worked in the Gorleston area in the finance sector as a bank manager for over 20 years. Jackie lives in Caister and enjoys walking her dog around the Norfolk area.

Louise has over 20 years of local property expertise in selling and letting homes, providing market appraisals professional property advice, inventories and check outs. She loves baking cakes in her limited free time between running around after 2 teenage girls and 2 dogs! She enjoys supporting her husband and oldest daughters football team The Gorleston Diamonds (who the lettings team proudly sponsor!).

SAM COLLINGS

LETTINGS NEGOTIATOR

Sam is the newest member of our Lettings team dealing with every aspect of the lettings side from viewings to maintenance and appraisals. Away from the office Sam is a busy Mum and has a passion for running and has competed in many 5 and 10K runs!

Michele started with Bycroft in 2006 as residential & commercial secretary then moved over to our Lettings Department in 2008.  She enjoys holidays abroad with her partner and has the largest rum collection on the East Coast!

PROPERTY MAINTENANCE ADMINISTRATOR

Diana has over 10 years experience in dealing with rental property’s and deals with all aspects of property maintenance, arranging landlord inspections and annual checks. Away from the office she likes to spend time with her Grandchildren and horse riding.

Courteney has over 17 years experience in the local property industry, providing mortgage advice to local customers from over 90 different lenders. When not arranging mortgages, she loves being a mum to two young children, her time is mostly spent walking their beagle along the Norfolk coast.

Kieron have worked in mortgages for 5 years, working his way up from admin to becoming a full time advisor in that time, with access to over 12,000 options. In his spare time he is an avid football fan and enjoys eating out at local restaurants.

In 1981 Charles Bycroft FRICS opened an independent Surveying and Estate Agency Practice in the Great Yarmouth area. In 1983 he joined Black Horse Agencies and became an Area Director responsible for several regional offices including Norwich and Great Yarmouth.

In 1992 Charles and Julie Bycroft opened their own business once again. Charles Bycroft Estate Agents has since grown to become one of the largest and well-respected independent agencies in Great Yarmouth.

In 2002 the business moved to the present offices to accommodate the additional staff taken on to manage the ever-increasing workload, ensuring a quality service was delivered to all clients.

In 2006 son Daniel Bycroft BSc (Hons) MRICS joined the practice to open a department specialising in commercial property and residential development having gained over 10 years experience in Norwich.
